Quick answers.

Yes. Reef Without Borders is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 42-2691547. Your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law and you will receive a tax receipt by email for every gift.

We are pre-launch, so rather than claim a spending history we do not have yet, this is how we budget the first mission: the largest share goes to field operations, then science and documentation, then community training, with administration kept as lean as possible.

Yes. Choose monthly on the donation form to give steady support all year. Monthly gifts help us plan field operations more reliably.

Many employers match charitable gifts, which can double what you give. Ask your HR team and use our EIN: 42-2691547 to verify eligibility.

Gifts of $10,000 or more can be directed to a specific program. Email donate@reefwithoutborders.org to arrange a restricted gift.

Through Adopt-A-Coral, you sponsor a specific coral fragment in Cebu, Philippines for $100. Your coral is GPS-recorded at planting, photographed, and tracked for 12 months.

Our first restoration mission is scheduled for Q4 2026 at Kontiki, Mactan, Cebu, in partnership with a local marine science institution.

Yes. Reef Without Borders is a recognized U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, incorporated in Texas on May 18, 2026. IRS determination letter effective May 22, 2026. EIN 42-2691547.

Our U.S. office is in Houston, Texas. Our field operations are at Kontiki, Mactan, Cebu, Philippines.

Research shows that coral reefs can recover when damaged coral is replanted, monitored, and protected from additional stressors. Reef restoration speeds up natural recovery by introducing new coral to degraded sites where natural recruitment has slowed.
